Transfer Credit Agreement Uww

Transfer students with a degree in arts and science from UW Colleges or an arts associate/science associate from Madison Area Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Nicolet Space Technical College or any other recognized community college that transfers at least 40 acceptable units to UW-Whitewater may be considered to have met the requirements of general education (communication and numeracy, basic studies and general studies). Although the associate degree meets all general education requirements, there may be additional courses required to meet the graduation and/or principal/minor requirements. In addition to meeting the requirements of general education, the UW-Colleges Arts and Sciences Association meets American requirements for racial/ethnic diversity. Students should remind counsellors that they have obtained the associated diploma to ensure that they are not counselled unnecessarily in general education courses. The final official copy of the sending institution must indicate that the diploma has been awarded or the student is responsible for meeting other general education requirements. If you are undecided about your major or school, the Universal Transfer Agreement (UCTA) offers a series of transferable courses between all UW institutions and all WTCS colleges. Students who do not receive a transfer credit for ENGLISH 101 or 141 are placed under ACT or SAT under-assessments or must pass the corresponding classification exam. If you are planning to move to UW-Whitewater, here are a few things that can still be on your to-do list: the corresponding units can be transferred from one program to another within the university. Program-to-program articulation agreement Transfer/credit courses are only accepted for the degree specified in the agreement. A modification of the major invalids of these courses/credits for the transfer is invalid, unless they are approved in another program to implement the implementation agreement for another major at the UW-Whitewater. The waiver granted by one of the four colleges cannot be recognized if the student changes universities. Students who change associations or bachelor`s degrees described above must meet all remaining communication and computational requirements before the end of 60 units until the end of the year.

Students transferring 60 or more units to the diploma must meet all remaining competency requirements during their first UW-Whitewater semester. Transfer-Wisconsin is a useful tool for students at all times in the planning of transfers. If you know your intended main part, you can view an articulation agreement to see which courses, GPA and other requirements need to be concluded before the transfer. A articulation agreement is a signed document guaranteeing the transfer of a diploma or certification program from a Wisconsin technical college to a particular university major. All classes described in the articulation agreement must be completed. A partial transfer cannot be granted. The College of Lake County and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater recently signed a warranty transfer admission agreement.
